Ok so I decided that I’m going to put a book of illustrations/doodlez using real life for inspiration! The cover will have me on it in Chibi form (see Image 1) and have drawings in it like Image 2, which is a dream I had brought onto paper. Strange, I know! But anyway, Dean’z Doodlez will be the title and it’ll have 40+ drawings in it. This will probably be the last time I blog about the book until it is complete and for sale.

The medium I used was spray paint and the stencils I used were custom made by myself.

Yes thanks to the many many tools on the internet, I’ve found the host which is just right for my website. The link you see above is a link to my website Dean K Art with special thanks to Weebly.com. For a while there I was almost going to use webs.com but they were giving me to much grief and I just could not get my head to understand their settings, layouts etc. so I went for Weebly as they were the only other website I knew that I could get the job done quick and easy. I love my cats! And I love drawing my cats as they sleep. You saw sleeping Sid the other day, now I give you sleeping Lilly the cat.
Done with a bic ballpoint pen.

Daily Sketch: MEOW!

Today’s Daily Sketch for Tuesday March 20th. My cat Lilly is an attention seeker and unless she gets her way, she lets a roar  “MEOW!”
This my interpretation of that roar, inspired by my fav artist Skottie Young, whose signed sketchbook “Stuff Book 1″ I recieved on my doorstep today!
